This talk presents experimental measurements and numerical investigations of soil reactions on buried pipelines crossing differential movement zones. Using beam-on-nonlinear-Winkler spring models, it covers deeply buried and trench-laid pipes, controlled backfill mechanics, interaction mechanisms visualization, advanced FE analyses, parametric analyses, and practical recommendations for spring parameter estimation and tool limitations.
